Venue Rental Includes:

  • The venue is our private appointment time for photography purposes; one hour minimum. If you choose to use props, please make sure you can setup, shoot and teardown within your booking time. I'm happy to assist you, as well, just pay for your time start-to-finish.


  • This is a working farm, animals (pony, goat, chickens, peacocks & longhorns) roam free in the pasture. You are welcome to include the animals in your photos, GFOS will provide one animal feeding during your session. GFOS will be present during pasture time to ensure a safe controlled environment for all, no chasing animals, supervised children and signed safety waiver required. With the addition of the longhorns, GFOS no longer permits other cattle or horses on our property. Exception: Our harnessed pony rental rate is $100/hr, during summer months... limited sessions based on heat.


  • Access to approximately 10 acres, barns, stalls, field and horse trailer.


  • Access to GFOS free photography props, no free time for decorating. Rented Prop Exceptions: Large Tractor, Antique Autos & Vintage Sofa. The sofa is on a dedicated trailer and now easily moved to your location choice with the utv.


  • Assistance as wanted - Transportation over the 10 acres in a UTV for you and your clients. Exceptions: when the owner is the pony handler and during extreme weather below 45° or above 95° or wet grounds.


  • If the photographer would like to be included in the photos, GFOS is happy to take photos with your camera during your scheduled booked time. Some like this opportunity for personal headshot branding, family photos, extended family and minis. It's a great way for the photographer or public to get in on family photos too and be able to edit their own photos.


  • All cameras are welcome to book here, open to the public by appointment only. Availability and Booking are through GFOS Messenger. Normal business hours 9:00 to sunset Monday-Saturday, Sundays after 2:30 p.m. to sunset.

(Max 4 families for one hour, if Longhorns are used.)


Venue pricing is time based, photos with animals are no extra charge (exception: if pony is harnessed, he will be a rental). If you choose to decorate a set, pay for your time start-to-finish (setup/shoot/teardown; I'm happy to assist you. The antique sofa and large tractor, remain as rentals.

If you don't want the animals in their pasture, animal removal/replacement will be an additional $25 and must e requested prior to your appointment.

Payments to Reserve


Bookings date/time are reserved by receipt of payment by Venmo or Zelle 281-702-1821, Tanya Bracksieck. First come first serve by payments received. GFOS will confirm receipt of payment. (Please notate date & time in the comments.)

No holds without payment.

Rescheduling, Weather, Cancellation, Credit

Owner will reschedule only if due to inclement downpour weather, upon GFOS's discretion 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.


Rainout reschedules are transferrable to another client, but must be re-booked within one month of the rainout or the Venue fee will be forfeited; however rented prop money will be credited to the next booking, credits must be used within the same calendar year.


Rescheduling for non-rainouts, such as wet, muddy grounds, high winds, cold, cloudy weather, sickness etc can be made in advance of the shoot, the fee will be $50 upon request and payment received. Our private time was reserved and unfortunately cannot be rebooked. No refunds allowed.

Terms & Conditions


Bookings are in 1 hour increments with a minimum of 1 hour, additional time can be purchased based on availability, same rate per minute. Please be mindful of your time slot, arrive/depart on time.



No confetti or glitter. No Boudoir. No alcohol. Failure to comply with rules will result in expulsion from the property.


The person setting & paying for the booking is considered the responsible party, unless otherwise noted and agreed to by GFOS.

Assistance

Parking

Plenty of Parking for Minis



Park across from the house carport, facing the fence so that others can park there as well as needed. Additional covered Parking in front of the Red Barn.

Note: if you want the red barn in your photos, you probably want to park across from the house then.

Transportation - Dry Ground Only

Transportation for photographers as requested, props and clients (exception when owner is a pony handler or in extreme weather conditions below 40° or above 100° or very wet grounds), as needed. Two Seater UTV for dry weather only. To and from over 10 acres.


Safety

Safety waivers are required to enter the pasture, for rented harnessed pony and use of pool. Please do not feed animals without GFOS supervision. Children must be supervised at all times, no running near animals.

Restrooms/Clothing Changes

No public restrooms, as this is our home. The Shell station is less than one mile away on 1960. Please advise your clients in your communications.


Changing tent provided upon request or private changes in the garage are permitted.

Pets

Personal pets must be on leash and not permitted in any pasture. The longhorns and pony do not like dogs. Please obtain approval from GFOS before the day of your shoot, if you wish to bring a pet in the yard area (approx 2 acres) for photos.
